Export your photos

Editing previews have a faint watermark. Clean exports remove it. Annotations are baked into a copy; your originals stay untouched.

Off by default: exports leave out the photo’s location, date, and drone details. Turn on to keep them, for example for your own archive.

PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Transparent PNG works best. Saved on this device for future shoots.

Type a name, or use {original}, {project}, and {n}. Leave blank to keep the original name with “-marked”.

Numbers are added at the end unless you place {n} in the name. Duplicate names get a suffix so no photos are overwritten.

How saving works

AutosaveSaved on this device
Backup fileNot downloaded yet
  1. Your work saves automatically

Every change is kept in this browser as you work. Refresh or close the tab and your shoot is waiting when you come back on this computer.

  2. Save project for a backup file

Downloads one .aerialmark file with your original photos and every pin, road, and label. Save one before you start a different shoot, switch computers or browsers, or clear your browser data. Keep it in Files, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

  3. Open project to pick up where you left off

Choose a saved .aerialmark file on any device. It opens as a new shoot, and the shoot you were editing stays in Shoots on this device.

  4. Export images for clients

Exports are finished copies with your marks built in. They can’t be edited later, so keep the project file for changes.

Private and incognito windows forget your shoot when they close, and Safari can clear sites you haven’t used for about a week. A backup file keeps your work safe.
